By way of confession, I have to say that I simply l-o-v-e Monte Carlo. Not as a place to live, as I’d simply go nuts if I had to live in such a golden cage. It’s a place that I like to visit, especially on a November weekend, when there is a considerable difference between the freezing temperatures that Northern Europe is suffering and the comparatively mild climate that the Cote d’Azur gets to enjoy.

The “Airbräu” is a bit of a hybrid of a beer garden, a pub, and a restaurant. They do really well in bringing a whiff of Bavarian savoir-vivre into the airport, and they provide endless delight to the passing traveller who does not otherwise have access to genuine Bavarian fare where they live.
